Professional Expertise

Since joining Savills Studley in 1989, Steve has provided real estate advisory services to law firms, corporations, not-for-profit organizations and trade associations throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area and United States. He has represented tenants totaling in excess of 6 million square feet and in excess of $3 billion.

Activities & Achievements

Steve’s achievements include awards and recognitions from both the national media and the Washington, DC real estate community. In 2006, he was the co-recipient of its prestigious “Transaction of the Year” award for his work on behalf of Conservation International, for the second time in his career. Steve received the award for his team’s work on behalf of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) several years prior. Most recently, Steve received Washington Business Journal’s 2011 “Best Suburban Office Lease” award for his representation of Choice Hotels International in its corporate headquarters transaction. Commercial Property News has recognized Steve as one of the 24 “Hot Brokers” in the nation and the CoStar Group continues to rank him among the DC area’s “Power Brokers.” At Savills Studley, Steve has received numerous awards for his client work including the “Numero Uno” Award for being the nationally top-ranked broker within the company in 2003.

Steve serves on the Board of Directors of the George Washington University Heart & Vascular Institute.

Steve graduated from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce where he received his Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in finance.
