Fourth Annual Cardiovascular Symposium: Updates in Prevention, Diagnosis, and Management

The purpose of this symposium is to educate the cardiovascular team, as well as internists, with the most clinically relevant information regarding heart failure, arrhythmias, and structural ischemic and vascular issues.

Target Audience

This symposium is designed for clinicians involved in multidisciplinary cardiology care. Including but not limited to cardiologists, internal medicine physicians, nurses, physician assistants, and other health care professionals.

Learning Objectives

Upon participation in this activity, attendees will be able to:

  • Recognize different approaches to reduce hospital re-admission for heart failure and arrhythmia.

  • Describe a multidisciplinary and comprehensive approach to evaluate and manage atrial and ventricular arrhythmias.

  • Incorporate new evidence based guidelines for hypertension, lipid, arrhythmia and heart failure management.

  • Recognize the various percutaneous and implantable circulatory support devices for management of advanced heart failure and shock.
