Addressing Barriers to Care: Patient Navigation Tools for Demonstrating Importance and Impact

In January 2015, the GW Cancer Institute was awarded funding from Genentech to develop tools to demonstrate the importance and impact of patient navigation. We are focusing on tools for: barrier and intervention tracking, impact tracking and value tracking. In fall 2015 we will pilot the tools, and they will be made available here in spring 2016 at no cost for patient navigators to use.
