Join us for the GW Biomedical Cross-disciplinary Seminar Series: Connecting Academic Research & Inquiry Across Disciplines. This lecture is entitled "Next Generation Sequencing Analysis of Inflammation in Coronary Artery Disease, Appendicitis, and Wound Repair" with Tim McCaffrey, PhD, Professor of Medicine and Microbiology, Immunology, and Tropical Medicine, Director of the Division of Genomic Medicine, GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences. The McCaffrey Lab's main focus is on genomic research, including the diagnosis and prediction of cardiovascular diseases by genomic technologies and transcript profiling of blood to reveal biomarkers that give light to potential underlying processes of acute appendicitis.
