Jumpstart your ideas and passions with this experiential and interactive two-day bootcamp that exposes you to the tools, tactics, and frameworks used by innovators and entrepreneurs to create new startups, businesses and social enterprises. This bootcamp will dive into design thinking as a way to help students frame problems and create solutions to social and environmental issues and provide impactful solutions in the US and internationally.

In one day, students will learn, ideate, build and explore new ways to solve real problems using the power of business methods. The modules include principles of Complex Problem Solving, Human Centered Design, Creativity and Innovation exercises, Empathy Building for Customers and Business Model Canvas for very early stage ideas and startups. You do not need to have a team to participate in this event or have an idea, just a problem you would like to solve. Individuals and teams are both welcome to attend.

This bootcamp is designed and facilitated by Ycenter a global NGO who has worked with Stanford, UC Berkley, and UPenn to deliver hands-on workshops for entrepreneurs, innovators, and social changemakers in seven countries across four continents.

If interested in attending this event, please register for only 1 ticket type. If there are multiple ticket types that apply to you, please only select a your primary designation (i.e. I am both a GW student & staff member, but GW staff is my primary designation.)

Important Event Note:
