GW Remembers
Tuesday, September 11, 2018

Join members of the George Washington University community in honoring the memory of the nine GW alumni who died in the September 11th tragedy, as well as all of those who lost their lives as a result of the attacks that day.

Campus-wide Moment of Silence
8:46 a.m.
At 8:46 a.m., the George Washington University will observe a moment of silence to remember those who lost their lives, those who lost loved ones and those who risked their lives to save others on 9/11. We ask that all members of the GW community pause in their academic and professional activities for one minute of reflection. The carillon bells on the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses will toll for the duration of the moment of silence.

Remembrance Ceremony
7:00 p.m.
Kogan Plaza
Rain site: Marvin Center, Marc C. Abrahms Great Hall
This event is a partnership between the Office of Military and Veteran Student Services, Sigma Delta Tau, and the Student Association.
