Lyuba Konopasek, MD, Associate Dean for GME, DIO, New York Presbyterian Hospitals of Columbia University and Weill Cornell Medical Center. She is nationally know for her work on Combating Burnout, Promoting Physician Well-being: Building Blocks for a Healthy Learning Environment in GME. She will share her thoughts on this important subject and provide a hands-on approach to conducting a needs assessment for developing a resident well-being plan. She will share tools, curricular innovations, coaching strategies, and faculty development activities to use in your own programs.
Calvin Chou, MD, PhD, FAACH, Professor of Clinical Medicine, Vice President for External Education, Director, VALOR Program, University of California San Francisco School of Medicine. Dr. Chou is well-regarded for his work in giving feedback. He will be speaking on An Evidence-Based, ARTful Approach to Feedback in Clinical Education, and providing a small-group workshop in this area as well.
