NSF BioFoundry @ CCRC: Democratizing Glycoscience through Collaborative Research and Education
Lance Wells
Research Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology,
University of Georgia, Athens
Glycoscience is understudied at the research bench and undertaught in the science classroom. The NSF BioFoundry: Glycoscience Research, Education, and Training (BioF:GREAT) at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center (CCRC), University of Georgia is designed to address these shortcomings. I will discuss tools being developed as well as opportunities to interact with the BioF:GREAT team in the areas of MS-based glycoanalytics, glycoenzyme expression, AI/ML of glycoenzymes and glycoproteins, and glycoeducation and training.
New Features and Tools in GlyGen v2.10
Rene Ranzinger
Co-Investigator, GlyGen, CCRC, University of Georgia, Athens
GlyGen is a knowledgebase integrating and standardizing glycan and glycoprotein data to support glycobiology and biomedical research. In this webinar, recent enhancements, new data and features from v2.10 will be showcased, including the new Glycan and Protein AI Query Assistants. A brief walkthrough of key glycan and protein exploration tools and details pages will also showcased.
