GW Class of 2019 graduates, families and friends - Please join President Thomas LeBlanc for a morning of thoughtful reflection the day before Commencement on the National Mall.

The Interfaith Baccalaureate Service celebrates the diversity of faith traditions at the university and how they support our community's commitment to service and learning.

This event will feature performances by the GW Department of Music; meditations from clergy representing various faith traditions; personal reflections from graduating GW students; and a reception following the ceremony.

All Health Sciences 2019 graduates, from associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs, are invited to celebrate their achievements at the Health Sciences Graduation Celebration. Your name will be called, you will walk across the stage, shake hands with the deans, and have a photo taken. Additionally, master’s and doctoral students will be “hooded.”

Tickets are required for attendance. Students will receive an email with instructions on how to obtain their allotted six electronic tickets.

*Graduates are to line-up for processional at 2 p.m. in Kogan Plaza, which is adjacent to Lisner Auditorium. In case of inclement weather, meet in the Lisner Auditorium basement. Arrive wearing your cap and gown over your street clothes. For master’s and doctoral degree candidates, bring your hood. Faculty will hood you on stage.
