Clinical Public Health Learning Lab: COVID-19 Virtual Symposium

Open to all SMHS Students, Faculty, Residents, and Staff!

George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) Clinical Public Health faculty will host a new learning lab educational series about clinical public health topics and their implications. The inaugural lab will focus on the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. The optional, online event is free and open to all students, faculty, residents, and staff at SMHS.

Topics will include an overview and update on COVID-19, background on zoonotic infections, epidemiologic rates and measures used in COVID-19, as well as discussions on legal issues raised by COVID-19, current public policy and advocacy efforts, and wellness and resilience in the time of COVID-19.

There will be opportunities for a moderated Q&A, with questions submitted electronically.
This symposium will be recorded and available online following the event.
