Please join the faculty and students of the GW Alpha Chapter of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) Honor Medical Society Thursday, May 14 for a special Internal Medicine Grand Rounds and Leaders in Medicine Graduation Week conference. All are welcome.
The annual lecture highlights AΩA’s core principle of honoring excellence in medicine with emphasis on professionalism, leadership, and service.
The event, sponsored by the GW Alpha Chapter of AΩA and the GW SMHS Department of Medicine, will feature 2026 AΩA Visiting Professor Helen Burstin, MD, MPH, MACP, chief executive officer of the Council of Medical Specialty Societies, and clinical professor of medicine at GW SMHS.
