Please join us for the 3rd Annual Leveraging Big Data Student Showcase! Throughout the 2018-2019 school year, students in the Biotechnology classes at T.C. Williams have been working closely with The George Washington University Biomedical Informatics Center. This collaboration began in the Fall 2016 and was the catalyst for the creation of the Governor's Health Sciences Academy. This year's project focused on adolescent nutrition, mood, and sleep quality. Students generated research questions and used survey data (submitted by the students themselves!) to determine if correlations exist between these three factors as well as other sociodemographic data. The final poster presentations will take place on Wednesday May 1. Light refreshments will be served. Please find details and RSVP!
All are welcome so feel free to pass this invite along! If you plan to attend, kindly RSVP by Friday April 19. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday May 1!
