This 1.5-day event will bring nationally recognized specialists and surgeons together to present hot topics and to participate in moderated panel discussions. 

Healthcare professionals who detect, diagnose, manage, and treat vascular diseases will benefit from this course. This includes physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other specialists in vascular surgery, cardiology, interventional radiology, nephrology, podiatry, and internal medicine.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Develop an understanding as to the construction of an organized aortic program that combines endovascular and open techniques to treat aneurysms;
  • Describe the benefits and challenges of an outpatient access center as part of a vascular practice in regards to the treatment of venous disease and dialysis access;
  • Evaluate the advantages of an organized limb preservation program that involves many specialties to optimize salvage and function in the patient threatened with limb loss;
  • Explain the components of a comprehensive stroke center and their impact on patient outcomes
