Physician-Led Courses

The Emergency Medical Services programs is committed to training the next generation of health care professionals. As such we offer a number of physician-lead undergraduate and graduate courses to meet the needs of students from a wide variety of health care fields. These courses may be taken as electives to augment programs of study across the University, with prior Academic Advisor approval.

EHS 6211: Innovations in Telemedicine

Introduces the topic of telemedicine to undergraduate, graduate students, and interested professionals in a multidisciplinary format while spurring innovation and entrepreneurship in the fields of Medicine, Engineering, Public Health, Business and Law. Case studies, site visits and guest lecturers from individuals on the cutting edge of health fields will be presented to deliver a comprehensive look at a rapidly evolving field.
