The Department of Emergency Medicine Training Center is an American Heart AssociationTraining Center offering courses in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Our educational programs are delivered by top clinicians and include cutting edgeresearch and practice implementation. Advanced simulation equipment and elite instructors make our training center stand out among other programs. Training initiatives are customized for clients, and may include basic CPR, first-aid, pre-hospital education, American Heart Association courses, advanced physician-level instruction and continuing medical education (CME).

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Provider Courses - ACLS emphasizes the importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival; the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions; and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.
This course is primarily designed for emergency, intensive care, or critical care health care providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may need to respond to a cardiovascular emergency.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - The goal of the PALS course is to aid the pediatric health care provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to pediatric health care providers in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes.
This course is designed primarily for pediatricians, emergency physicians, family physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other health care providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies.
