Director of Diversity and Inclusion
Dr. Grace E. Henry has worked for the George Washington University for more than 19 years in the areas of student activities, freshman orientation, student leadership, residential life and multicultural services. She holds a B.S. in psychology and an M.Ed. in counseling psychology from Howard University and an Ed.D. in higher education administration from the George Washington University.
Dr. Henry has been an active participant in diversity activities in her time here at the institution, most recently as a member of the President’s Council for Diversity and Inclusion’s Research and Evaluation workgroup. Dr. Henry was appointed as director of Diversity and Inclusion in September 2013.
Diversity and Inclusion Program Associate
Jinny Jang has worked for the George Washington University since 2015 in student leadership and residential life training. She joined the School of Medicine and Health Sciences Office of Diversity & Inclusion in September 2016. Prior to her work at GW, Jinny facilitated outreach for girls leadership development in underserved communities and coached women's rowing at the high school and collegiate levels. Jinny earned a B.A. in American studies with a concentration in ethnic studies from Wesleyan University and an M.A. Ed.&H.D. in organizational leadership and learning from the George Washington University.
