Dr. Yolanda Haywood has been a longtime leader at GW, holding positions such as associate dean for student and curricular affairs and associate professor of emergency medicine at SMHS. She holds a BS in zoology and an MD from Howard University. She also graduated from the physician assistant program and was a resident at SMHS.
In her role as Senior Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion and Associate Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Haywood is looking forward to working with colleagues across the school to continue to enhance diversity and to further the SMHS mission of improving the health and well-being of the school’s local, national, and global communities.
