Cold Therapy Offers Promising Prevention Against Taxane-Induced Dermatologic Events

After systemically reviewing 34 studies, Professor of Dermatology and Director of the Supportive Oncodermatology Clinic Adam Friedman, MD, and his team at GW have found skin cooling methods may be the best preventative intervention against taxane-based chemotherapy side effects.
