Work-In-Progress Session with William Freeman, MD

Dr. Freeman will present his dissertation regarding Social Determinants of Health and ED Visits Categories.

William Freeman has a doctorate of Public Health in Health Policy and Health Services Research from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is a Health Scientist Administrator at the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. He has been at AHRQ since 2010, and has worked on the National Healthcare Quality and Disparities Reports project, the MONAHRQ public-reporting project, and recently joined the HCUP project team. He works as a top-level COR (contract manager), a grants project officer, and is beginning to step into the realm of intramural research. He earned his B.A. in Economics, and M.P.H. in Global Environmental Health, both from Emory University.
