Tuition and Financial Aid

Undergraduate (Associates, BSHS, Post Baccalaureate Certificate Programs)

Current tuition for all Health Science programs can be found on the GW Student Accounts Office at the bottom of the Undergraduate Tuition page.

Active Duty Military

For active duty military personal the tuition rate is $250 per credit hour. Each Health Sciences program admission page outlines eligibility criteria and required documentation.

Undergraduate Dual Degree Programs (BSHS/MSHS)

The undergraduate rate applies for the three MSHS courses taken at the undergraduate level: however, the remaining MSHS courses are charged at the standard graduate rate.

Graduate (MSHS, Graduate Certificate, Doctoral Programs)*

Current tuition for all Health Science graduate programs can be found on the GW Student Accounts Office on the Graduate Tuition page.

Specialist in Blood Banking Review Course

The cost is $1,000.

Fees

Each registered semester, students are assessed a flat $35 registration fee. Leave of Absence and Continuous Enrollment are considered registration activity and require payment of the registration fee.

Students in online programs do not pay the Student Association Fee.

Costs of textbooks are not included in tuition. Students should budget for textbook costs each semester.

Student Aid

If you wish to apply for federal loans, you must submit the Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the academic year. In addition to the FAFSA, you may be required to submit supplementary documentation for federal and private loans. Please be advised, students who receive financial assistance must adhere to the Satisfactory academic Progress (SAP) requirements. Please note that students completing a Graduate Certificate are not eligible for financial aid.
