Webinar - NCCCP Survivorship Webinar Series: Part 2

Surveillance strategies are important in addressing cancer survivor’s needs. Six DP15-1501 - Increasing the Implementation of Evidence-Based Cancer Survivorship Interventions to Increase Quality and Duration of Life among Cancer Patients awardees will serve as panelists to describe their experiences to implement evidence based strategies to increase surveillance and community/clinical linkages. Strategies include identifying cancer survivors and their needs through the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance system (BRFSS), using local cancer registry data to populate survivorship care plans [SCPs], and develop or adopt standardized patient navigation programs to assist cancer survivors to receive appropriate cancer treatment and follow-up care.
