Since the release of the Nine Habits of Successful Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalitions (9 Habits), the evidence-based, comprehensive and interconnected characteristics of successful coalitions have helped maintain active and thriving coalitions across states, tribes, territories and Pacific Island Jurisdictions.
This summer, the Comprehensive Cancer Control National Partnership (CCCNP) is conducting a three-part "refresher" series on the 9 Habits. The topics were identified as most important to address based on feedback from Comprehensive Cancer Control (CCC) coalitions. The first webinar on Habit #1: Empowering Leadership took place on July 12 and the second webinar on Habit #9: Making the Most of Your Priority Work Plan took place on August 9.
Continue your exploration of the 9 Habits with the third and final webinar in this three-part series, Diversified Resources. In this webinar, we'll take a closer look at Habit 5, which emphasizes the importance of diversified funding and resources for implementing your coalition's priorities. We'll share examples of innovative resource planning from Kansas and Colorado.
The speakers will lead a discussion around: What we mean by diversified funding/resources, how coalitions can identify and secure resources for their CCC plan implementation, and innovative ways coalitions have supported CCC plan implementation.
