• The Bosque Lab New Slider

Welcome to the Bosque Lab

The Bosque laboratory is a member of the Research Center for the Eradication of HIV within the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Tropical Medicine at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C.

The existence of latent reservoirs of HIV-infected cells constitutes the major impediment towards viral eradication. We are currently investigating the mechanisms that control the entry and exit of HIV into latency to identify novel mechanisms that can be used towards HIV-1 eradication strategies.
