MS in Biochemistry Track

To continue offering a modern, highly integrated program of graduate study, the Biochemistry track and the Bioinformatics track have been merged into a single MS in Bioinformatics and Molecular Biochemistry program starting Fall 2023. The focus will be on teaching Bioinformatics and its research application in Genomics, Biochemistry, and Molecular Medicine.

Current students and incoming Spring 2023 students will not be affected by this change. Please contact us for more information.

Our MS in Biochemistry Track program is located in the heart of Washington, D.C., in close proximity to government labs (e.g., NIH, USDA, and FDA), as well as biotechnology companies, research hospitals, law firms, non-profit, non-governmental organizations, and many other entities; our location is truly unique and provides our students with ample, unparalleled professional development opportunities.

Students on the MS in Biochemistry Track will be prepared for a career in academia/research or for careers in industry; and in any field from advanced biomedical research, medicine, and public health, to law and policy.

The program provides flexibility for working professionals (classes are held in the evenings) and options to choose between thesis and non-thesis tracks, and between a 1-year and a 2-year program
