I am thankful to GW for making my dreams of a medical career come true in 1977 (!). It was a gift that keeps on giving for me, as I continue in my semi-retirement as a family medicine physician in Hawaii. People often say that college gives you your best friends and professional school gives you your closest friends. I disagree, as I have both in my longtime friendships from my days at GW Med.
A heartfelt mahalo in a very challenging time for all of us in the healthcare. Hopeful that 2021 will help us see our way out of this horrifying pandemic, and very grateful that GW is involved in those efforts.
