COVID-19: MD Admissions

The Committee on Admissions will honor institutional policies that have changed grades to Pass/Fail for Spring 2021

Summer 2021 courses
The Committee on Admissions will accept online courses for the Summer 2021 term.

Fall 2021 courses
If required by your institution for the Fall 2021 semester, online coursework will be acceptable. The Committee on Admissions reserves the right to ask applicants for further information regarding course availability and modalities at any time in the application process.

We are accepting MCAT scores from exams taken April 2018 through September 2021. All applicants are required to have a valid MCAT score within this timeframe.

No interviews or acceptances will be granted without an MCAT in this window.

The AAMC has opened up additional testing dates throughout the summer and the fall, shortened the score reporting time, and has made other modifications to lessen the impact on applicants for the 2022 cycle.

Visit the AAMC website for more information on the changes the AAMC has made regarding the MCAT in response to Covid 19.

2022 Application Cycle Deadlines

  • November 15, 2021: AMCAS / primary application deadline
  • December 15, 2021: Secondary application & Letters of Recommendation

The secondary application fee is always non-refundable.

Interviews for the 2022 cycle will be virtual until further notice.

We encourage applicants to review the AAMC's Virtual Interviews: Tips for Medical School Applicants.
