BSHS in Clinical Embryology and Assisted Reproductive Technology

Clinical embryologists are trained medical laboratory professionals who specialize in aiding infertility treatment with in vitro fertilization (IVF) and assisted reproductive technology (ART). There is a growing demand for professionals in this rapidly expanding field. This bachelor’s degree program is the first in the nation that prepares students for positions in ART laboratories, biotechnology companies, research institutes, and hospitals. In addition, graduates of the program will be eligible to take the embryology and andrology board certification examination (ELS and ALS) offered by the American Board of Bioanalysts. Graduates will be prepared to pursue an advanced degree beyond the baccalaureate if they choose.
