About the Lab

Gene Shuffling Hovel Miner

Welcome

The Hovel-Miner lab is using cutting edge genetics and cell biology approaches to uncover pathways of drug resistance and novel functional biology in Trypanosomatid parasites. Housed in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Tropical Medicine in the School of Medicine at Health Sciences at George Washington University, The Hovel-Miner Lab seeks to improve global health and socioeconomic disparity by discovering druggable aspects of trypanosome biology.
