Welcome from the GW Epilepsy Center

Welcome from the Epilepsy Center Director

Mohamad Z. Koubeissi, M.D. speaking at Epilepsy Board Review

Dear Colleagues,

Over the last 10 years, hundreds of clinicians from around the country and the world attended GW’s Annual Epilepsy Board Review and Best Practices with a larger number registering for the Home Study Course. This 3-day comprehensive course prepared physicians planning to certify in the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc.'s (ABPN) Epilepsy Board Examination.

I am pleased to announce that the course will be offered again from August 24 to 26, 2023, both in person and through live webcast. Like previous years' courses, the 2023 course will provide an updated comprehensive review of the ABPN exam Content Blueprint, thus preparing the attendees for all areas in epilepsy and EEG that will be tested.

I look forward to seeing you in August.

Regards,

Mohamad Z. Koubeissi, M.D.
Professor and Interim Chair of Neurology
Director, Epilepsy Center
The George Washington University

Similar to last year, attendees will have the option to attend the course in-person or virtually. In addition to the educational sessions, the program will feature numerous opportunities to dialogue with the experts and several scheduled breaks for informal exchange.

We look forward to seeing you in August.
